A newly created opportunity is available for an **Operations Manager **based in Perth, Western Australia to own operational supplier coordination and relationship management within the APAC region for Vix’s Devices division. This role will see you exercising your significant experience in supplier relationships, maintaining service stability and integrity within the supply chain operation, including buyer and procurement strategies that support the optimisation of device sales and distribution.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Vendor management - review requisitions and select potential preferred suppliers
- Prepare quotations that align with technical and commercial device specifications
- Analyse quotations and negotiate cost effective, quality purchases
- Award purchase orders, ensuring acceptance of the PO by the suppliers that adhere to Vix terms and conditions, budget standards
- Reconcile delivery queries and invoice discrepancies
- Monitor Purchase Order status, ensure Project Procurement Plan is continuously up to date
- Ensure vendor adherence to company quality and safety requirements and that clients and statutory obligations are met
- Maintain an approved suppliers list, PO close out and performance sheet completed for nominated vendors, to ensure that Suppliers are qualified to meet company requirements for ongoing supply
- Ensure that all requirements of Customs and Tax authorities are complied with, and all appropriate records are maintained to minimise exposure to customs duty and tax liability, whilst ensuring that Vix Technology complies in all respects with the relevant legislative/legal requirements
- ERP workflow management experience (SAGE preferred)
- Foster and maintain collaborative, competitive commercial arrangements with Vix suppliers
- Maintain a review and revise approach to the product supply lifecycle in terms of inventory management, supply and delivery
- Relevant commercial or business degree qualifications
- Commercial experience in a similar position in the SME hardware manufacturing space
- ERP supply chain management experience (SAGE well regarded)
- Significant experience in supplier relationship management
- Process oriented with an autonomous approach to problem solving
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
- Highly developed commercial acumen and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders.
