Support Worker

We have exciting opportunities to join our expanding team of dedicated mental health and disability Support Workers working with clients across Woolloongabba and Annerley region. This is due to more people choosing Open Minds as their preferred support network. As a member of our team, you'll be providing support to our Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Community Access Clients.

**How you will make a difference**
- By helping clients reach their goals set out in their personal support plans
- Implement planned activities that promote client independence
- Celebrate client’s achievements
- Enable connection with community resources as desired by client
- Provide domestic assistance to clients, which includes light household cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and personal care
- Schedule and assist with medical appointments
- Report client’s requirements and reinforce positive behaviour.
**What you need to get started**:
- Current Open Driver’s License
- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance and Blue Card

Pay: $33.41 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 - 30 per week
