Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant

At Kinnect, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering workplace rehabilitation services that help individuals engage in meaningful occupations through a client-centered approach, promoting optimal health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing injured workers to determine the best strategies for facilitating their return to work.
  • Visiting workplaces to understand the challenges injured workers may face and educating employers on injury prevention.
  • Providing clinical opinions and justifications through detailed report writing.
  • Case managing complex injuries and coordinating with treating doctors and health professionals to support injured workers in their recovery and return to work.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Conducting pre-employment assessments, including drug & alcohol testing, audiology, spirometry, vision, and functional testing.
  • Developing job dictionaries.
  • Performing manual task risk assessments.
  • Leading interactive manual handling training and implementing stretching and warm-up programs.
  • Conducting ergonomic assessments in workplace, home, and vehicle settings.
