**The Opportunity**
We are seeking a casual Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Slade Pharmacy, located in St. John of God Murdoch Hospital, Western Australia. You will be part of an innovative and multidisciplinary team delivering outstanding pharmacy services to our client hospital and their patients.

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and broaden your career within a hospital environment. - Established in 1994, St John of God Murdoch Hospital has recently undergone extensive redevelopment. The facility now features 507 beds, 16 operating theatres, a new medical centre, cancer centre and Western Australia’s largest standalone endoscopy unit._

**About the Role**
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be assisting in preparing prescriptions, handling customer queries, and ensuring the timely supply of medications.

Your key responsibilities include:

- Providing high-quality pharmacy services to hospital staff, patients, and customers
- Dispensing and supplying medications for hospital and cancer patients
- Assisting with imprest and pharmacy inventory management
- Delivering and collecting medications to and from hospital wards
- Entering patient-specific data into the pharmacy database
- Assisting with patient account enquiries and resolving issues
- Liaising with hospital staff and associated personnel
- Supporting the pharmacy team with general administrative tasks

Expected working hours range from 15 to 25 hours per fortnight, offering a mix of day, night, and weekend shifts.

**About You**
You are a dedicated Pharmacy Technician with dispensing experience in an Australian pharmacy setting.

Essential Requirements:

- Dispensing experience in an Australian based hospital or community pharmacy
- Be able to address patient needs with confidentiality, sensitivity and professionalism
- Have a high attention to detail
- The ability to work in a team environment
- Preferred _Requirements:

- Dispensary Technician Certificate or equivalent as recognised by the Pharmacy Board of Australia
