Carnival Australia is thrilled to announce a job opening for the position of Commercial Analyst (Market Planning Analyst) in our Princess Cruises team This is a full-time permanent role located in the beautiful Chatswood district of Sydney. Reporting directly to the Director of Market Planning, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including developing new reports, drawing data from our internal data warehouses, conducting analyses, creating regular reports, drawing insights from market data, offering pricing analysis, and developing and executing pricing strategies that reflect the ever-changing consumer demands across the Asia Pacific markets.

**Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:

- Create and enhance reports by automating and improving their accessibility.
- Facilitate the development of pricing and promotional strategies for ships within the APAC region.
- Collaborate with the USE-based Product Teams to drive APAC sourcing for international trades, while also sourcing internationally for APAC based ships.
- Manage timelines for all workflows to ensure that activities are launched on schedule.
- Coordinate promotion and voyage information, including product launches and strategic promotions.
- Provide ad-hoc analyses and assist with ad-hoc inquiries.

**About You**:
**To be successful in the role, you will have demonstrated**:

- 1 - 2 years of experience in an Analyst role, preferably a Commercial function.
- Ability to analyse business and financial data and collate into clear reports.
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, interpreting data is mandatory.
- Strong understanding and hands on experience with SQL is essential.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Working knowledge in PowerBI, Tableau is desirable.
- Highly proficient time management, analytical and coordinating skills across multiple stakeholders.
- A strong desire to learn, be inquisitive, be proactive and always seeking to progress in your career.
