ONCALL is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our team in Victoria but remain Queensland focused.

This is a newly created role and will work under the direction of a Finance Manager who is also Melbourne based.

**In this role you will**:
Assist in month-end process & general ledger reconciliations
Preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual reports including management accounts and financial statements
Provide support to the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
Provide support for process improvement across the finance team
Assistance with Cashflow management
Assistance with the preparation of BAS and other
Any additional ad-hoc administration tasks as required

**Your Skills and Experience**:
2+ years of experience in a similar level role
A keen eye for detail and willingness to learn
Working towards CA or CPA
Ability to demonstrate strong excel and reporting skills
Ability to communicate well with stakeholders across the business
