- **Location: Parramatta**

The Lead Application Analyst works very closely with the SAP Release & Deployment Manager in managing SAP releases and working with ITD Change Management for co-ordination, scheduling, cutover and PVT. In this role, you will be liaising with all functional teams in Digital Finance and Digital HR for all changes impacting SAP. In addition, you will be supporting SAP projects as a Release & Deployment Lead.

The Department’s Information and Technology environment is ranked as one of the largest and most comprehensive in Australia (providing services to support to 1.3 million corporate, school staff and students).
- The information Technology Directorate (ITD) is responsible for delivering and maintaining the electronic administrative, corporate, and learning systems used across the department, and ensuring that technology policies and standards are in place to manage, support and enhance the department’s ICT infrastructure and services.

**About the role**

The Lead Application Analyst develops and maintains large, complex corporate systems that facilitate the
achievement of the Department’s core business using process and technology. The Lead Application Analyst provides sound, technical, and professional advice to the role supervisor, and actively contributes to planning, system documentation and reporting.

**Essential requirements of the role**
- Demonstrated basic knowledge/information in SAP enterprise technologies (GRC, WORKFLOW, FICO, SRM, INTEGRATION, BW AND SOLMAN/CHARM).

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
- Demonstrated experience in large or complex IT and business environments.
- Significant IT operational knowledge gained through supporting IT operational functions and/or through working in IT projects
