**Why Your Role Matters**:
The Data Risk Management Project (DRMP) is being undertaken by UNSW Planning & Performance to mitigate data risks identified across the University for priority action. The Communications Change Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a tailored communications strategy with a strong organisational change element to support successful delivery of the DRMP.

The Communications Change Manager reports to the DRMP Project Manager and has no direct reports.

**Who you are**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent extensive experience or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any combination of education, training, and experience. Communications experience in the higher education sector is desired.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering communications plans to support organisational change.
- Demonstrated experience in distilling complex information into simple messages with the ability to tailor content for a variety of audiences.
- Ability to function effectively and independently with the capacity to take responsibility, exercise judgement and proactively address and resolve problems as they arise.
- Ability to work in a highly adaptable and consultative manner, working in a collaborative way to deliver the best outcomes.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to navigate through competing deadlines.
