The Associate Director Business Governance and Controls - Institutional Operations is responsible for the day to day execution of business risks and control activities across Institutional Operations including Australia and work as central facilitation point for the 32 Institutional Geographies. This includes operational risk identification, managing compliance with obligations, event management, risk forum reporting, facilitation of audit preparation, quality control activities, product review, change risk management, business continuity governance and stakeholder management.

**Other responsibilities includes**:

- Manage operational costs to achieve agreed financial targets
- Work collaboratively with the business to develop risk mitigation and event remediation strategies across Operations globally
- Analysis, research and problem-solving in the field of governance, operational risk and compliance
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders and ensure governance objectives are met
- Ensure all services delivered comply with ANZ Group Policy

**Role Type**: 12-month Fixed Term Contract, Full-time
