Birdie Hair Salon in Preston is looking for a confident Salon Assistant/Social Media Guru to join our team.

We are a Blonde Specialist Salon with our own product range and colour line coming soon.

We are needing a Salon Assistant to greet clients, take bookings, wash hair, blow dry, tone colours, general cleaning and making coffees and helping out at the on site Coffee Bar. Part of the job will be posting on our various social media platforms for our brands, so an interest and some experience in social media is a must.

We are a positive, health conscious salon so we are looking for someone who looks after themselves, is fit and lives a healthy lifestyle.

No experience is required but you must have a passion for hair and fashion and be willing to learn all the skills of this trade.

You must be available Monday, Thursday and Saturdays with one late night

This position is also open to Hairdressing Apprentices/Trainees or those re-entering the industry

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $22.82 - $32.89 per hour
