Clinical Research Assistant

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and suitably experienced Clinical Research Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis (0.5 FTE) for 12 months.

The Clinical Research Assistant will work exclusively on an Orthopedic Research Project involving hip replacement. This is a collaborative research project aimed at understanding robotics in Total Hip Arthroplasty. This position is located at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside.

About you
- Completion of a university degree in the field of health science (e.g., nursing, psychology, allied health, public health etc.).
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating research projects.
- Assist with collection and de-identification of data, transfer and storage of data and adverse event reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, prioritise work and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to support the Investigator with research protocol development, creation of participant information sheets and consent form and documentation for ethical review and site governance.
- Highly developed interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills including experience in working effectively with people at all levels both internal and external to the organisation.
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and flexibly within a multidisciplinary team.
