**About the role**:
An exciting opportunity to join Box Hill Institute as our ICT Academic Course Manager on an ongoing basis within our college of Higher Education

Within this role you will manage and lead teaching and learning activities to ensure high quality innovative programs, resources and training are delivered to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Information Technology and Bachelor of Computer Systems. On occasion, you may also be required to be involved in the academic delivery in the Degree programs and scholarly activities.

You will have the opportunity to lead and manage a team of teaching staff and professional employees; assisting them to build of their capabilities. You will also be managing teacher work plans, mentoring employees, overseeing annual business plans and budgets and promoting high standards of professional practice.

As the ICT Academic Course Manager, you will support students by improving their education and employment opportunities and overall satisfaction of course work; working with students to aid in their successful completion of their studies and supporting employees to provide innovative resources, systems and activities in the classroom.

Your role will form part of the Educational Delivery Division where we provide a range of teaching and learning programs at local and international campuses. The ICT Academic Course Manager is based at our Elgar Road Campus in Box Hill Victoria.
**About You**:

- Hold or currently undertaking a Doctorate with documented submission date and/or hold a master’s degree with demonstrated experience and knowledge within the ICT industry
- Relevant research or scholarship publication records
- Strong understanding and demonstrated experience with International Student cohorts
- High level, demonstrated experience managing a high performance team of teaching staff; performance management, facilitating development and coaching productivity
- Experience leading and managing academic programs along with a strong understanding of VET and Higher Education pedagogy.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders including students and executives
- Passionate in delivering new and diverse approaches to educational delivery
