- Complete the protocol for an evidence gap map of original articles and systematic reviews, following state-of-the-art methods and established guidelines.
- Complete the search, screening and data extraction.
- Assess the risk of bias and critically evaluate methodological aspects (including statistical considerations) of all selected literature, using the most appropriate tools available.
- Develop a priority setting process according to established guidelines.
- Prepare regular progress reports for the research team and funding agencies
- Prepare regular meetings with the research steering committees
- Perform other related duties as required
- Evidenced advanced knowledge of research methods, designs and analysis.
- PhD in epidemiology or statistics, or related areas (e.g., public health) OR PhD on meta-research related areas as main topic (a preliminary systematic review as part of the PhD does not satisfy this requirement).
- Evidence of knowledge of established critical appraisal tools and research guidelines (preferred).
- Excellent oral and written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and partners.
- An understanding of University policy and procedures or the proven ability learn quickly
- Through academic, professional or other external partnerships, experience or demonstrated ability to perform research synthesis of intervention studies (preferred).

**Base Salary Range**:$91,390 to $111,307 pa (Level A) This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension)** in addition** to the base salary. UTS staff also benefit from a wide range of Employee Benefits include flexible work practices, child care centres, generous parental leave and salary packaging opportunities. This position is **full-time (1.0 FTE/5 days per week)** and the appointment will be made on a **fixed term basis for 2 years.**
