**ASSOCIATE FINANCIAL CLINICAL OPERATIONS MANAGER / FINANCIAL CLINICAL OPERATIONS MANAGER (FCOM)

**THE OPPORTUNITY - Associate FCOM/ FCOM**

In this role, as the **Associate** FCOM/ FCOM**, you will provide support and expertise in developing effective clinical contractual agreements and country and site budgets and actively manage clinical financial obligations. Develop and cultivate excellent internal and external relationships operationally to advance the company's clinical trials in Australia and New Zealand.

**What will you do**:

- You will understand and manage the life cycle of clinical site payment administration. Maintain a payment/accrual tracking process and system for study sites.
- You will be responsible for approving and overseeing payments to sites, supporting multiple areas' day-to-day activities in complex clinical financial processes.
- You will support the Finance and Compliance Senior Clinical Operations Manager in developing policies, procedures, and process improvements as appropriate.
- Assist Finance with audits of payment and financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and negotiate site study budgets
- You will prepare study-related contracts, including compliance checks, clinical trial agreements, and amendments.

**What should you have**:

- You have a minimum bachelor's degree, with experience in clinical contracts/budget administration, accounting/finance, Or clinical project/operations.
- You have comprehensive knowledge of core clinical, regulatory, and financial systems, tools, and metrics.
- It is advantageous to have prior experience with industry financial software with high-level proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
- You have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, sufficient to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- You have a knack for good business judgment and a strong understanding of the unique aspects of clinical finances.
- You should demonstrate an understanding of the clinical site and vendor budgets and payment terms.
- Have proven success in completing assignments, tasks, and projects under mínimal supervision and demonstrated ability to make critical recommendations related to clinical financial management.
- You can work independently with mínimal supervision in a team-oriented environment.
- Are self-motivated, eager to grow professionally, and commitment to self-development.
- You have strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and are comfortable with managing difficult conversations. Strong negotiation skills, excellent at influencing, training/mentoring skills.
- You can focus on multiple deliverables and protocols simultaneously. Able to work effectively (and virtually) in a dynamic environment. Have strong problem-solving, coordination, and organizational skills.
