**Job Description**:
**Position Overview**:
The VMware Pre-sales Architect will be a member of a team, providing technical expertise, solution design, and architectural guidance. This role requires a deep understanding of VMware technologies combined with the ability to communicate complex solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Solution Design**:Craft or uplift tailored VMware solutions based on prospective clients' requirements, ensuring alignment with their business objectives and IT strategies.

**RFP/RFI Responses**:Assist the team in responding to RFPs and RFIs, ensuring that technical sections are accurately addressed. Participate in discussions with customers as a VMWare SME.

**Technical Advisory**:Serve as the primary technical point of contact for VMWare during the pre-sales process, answering technical queries and providing guidance on best practices.

**Collaboration**:Work closely with the technical team to identify opportunities and challenges, ensuring that proposed solutions are both technically sound and commercially viable.

**Essential Skills & Qualifications**:

- Proficiencies in core VMware technologies including VMWare, Vsphere, Vsan Storage, vRealize, ESXi, vCentre, NSX-T, NSX-T Intrusion Detection System and more.
- Experience with hosting VMware on NetAPP HCI and Hitachi HCI is an advantage.
- Relevant VMware certifications such as VCP, VCAP, VCDX, etc.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions in a clear and concise manner.
- Proven experience in a pre-sales or solutions architect role, preferably within the VMware ecosystem.
