**About You**

Do you have a passion for administration and business support, are you looking for a job which has flexibility where no two days will be the same?

**About the Role**:
You will be working across a variety of businesses providing administrative and business support to Saleyards, Children Services, Animal Shelter, Tourism and Property Services. Each day will be different

Wednesday’s you will be required to commence at 6am to provide support to the Saleyards. The position will require you to adapt to site specific requirements and needs of the business and will require responsiveness to operational needs with a degree of flexibility required.

Located in the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW, 1.5 hours south-west of Sydney, Wingecarribee Shire Council is working to create and nurture a vibrant & diverse community in harmony with the region's urban, agricultural & natural environments.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Certificate IV in Business Administration or other relevant related discipline and/or extensive experience working in an business support role within a fast-paced busy environment.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate experience in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of the requirements for corporate record keeping with experience in using an electronic document record keeping system.
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, with a focused and responsive approach to managing customer enquiries with sound understanding of customer service principles.
- Demonstrated high level organisational and administrative skills, including strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise work in a high-volume environment with previous experience in a role requiring tact and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to the success of a team, as well as the ability to work independently, and show initiative and judgment in proposing solutions to challenges.
- Demonstrated experience in analysing and interpreting data and accuracy in work.

**Essential Requirements**
- Australian Driver Licence (Class C)
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Participation in a pre-employment medical assessment
- Being able to physically meet the requirements of the role as detailed within the position description
- Participate in Wingecarribee Shire Councils’ random drug and alcohol testing
- Participate in All staff orientation, mandatory and compliance training relevant to role responsibilities
