**Council is seeking a Business Support Officer - Water Services**
**This is a **Temporary** Full Time Position - Contract until 31 December 2023**
**35 hour week with a variable day off each month**
**Hourly rate from $32.94457 to $38.21571 (Dependant on skills and experience) + Superannuation**

Located in the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW, 1.5 hours south-west of Sydney

**About the Role**:
The position provides administrative support across a broad range of functions supporting the delivery of the Water & Sewer Branch. Your duties will include but are not limited to providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, responding to incoming enquiries (over the phone or face to face). You will also provide a full range of administrative and clerical support services for the management team and operational staff of the Water & Sewer Branch.

**Selection Criteria**:
1.Certificate IV in Business Administration or related discipline, or extensive experience in administration.
2.Demonstrated high level experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and
3.PowerPoint.
4.Demonstrated word processing skills supporting a team.
5.Sound understanding of dealing with internal and external customers including written and verbal communication on a daily basis.
8.Demonstrated experience in being able to implement and carry out instructions without further supervision.

9.Current NSW Drivers Licence (Class C).

**Desirable Criteria**
1. An understanding of local government and role within the community.
2. An understanding of Council corporate systems and databases including; Dataworks, Finance One and Conquest.
3. Demonstrated experience in a similar position within an operational services utility or Local Government department.
