About the role

As a Patient Care Assistant, you will support the nursing team to deliver safe patient care of the highest quality. You will have the opportunity to work across a wide variety of specialty and general areas, including: neurology, orthopaedic, renal, and oncology. You will be supported at all times by the guidance and supervision of a registered nurse.

About you

**To be successful in this role you will possess**:
Previous experience working in an acute hospital setting will be highly regarded

Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (or equivalent)

Computer skills

A strong commitment to high quality care

The ability to work as part of a diverse team

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
