**About the company**:
Our client is one of the largest providers in the specialist retail industry. With over 50 stores, a number of warehouses and pushing 1000 team members, they are a force to be reckoned with. **About the role**:
Our client is looking for a Manager to lead the National DC located in Sydney's Western Suburbs. Reporting to the COO, the person will be responsible for managing the overall DC including the safety and well being of the entire team as well as meeting customer expectations in the delivery of their goods. A true leadership role where visibility and transparency are important.

**Responsibilities**:

- Promote and drive a culture of safety and well being, looking out for all team members
- Leading and managing operational functions of the WH to achieve KPI's
- Lead a culture of continuous improvement and identify improved efficiency's
- Develop systems to measure quality control, inventory movements, stocktakes, receipting and outgoing stock
- Security, maintenance and cleanliness of the WH facility
- Manage operating costs including people, products and place
- Review and update/implement SOP's as and when needed
- Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy
- Reporting on all WH, distribution and pick/pack process and costs to leadership

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years in a Warehouse Management role
- Strong communication skills to liaise with people at all levels of the business
- Great computer literacy to understand and learn new systems
- Current forklift license and certification
- Previous WH&S protocols and experience managing process
- Power BI would be an advantage but a willingness to learn goes a long way
