As a Component Planner you’ll be responsible for maintaining the balance between component availability, excess inventory and spending. Doing this well will ensure a greater overall experience for our customers and better free cash flow for our business.

What you’ll do- Ensuring the availability of the components necessary to complete customer orders in accordance with established LT and maintain continuity of production.- Sharing demand forecasts with suppliers and obtaining confirmation of commitment.- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions on delivery reliability of suppliers.- Execute actions to minimize slow moving and obsoletes costs.- Participation in the phase in / phase out of the components.

Your qualifications- Knowledge and experience of Purchasing/Planning (5 years min).- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or certification (e.g. APICS, CPM, etc.).- Experience in Supplier Management.- ERP/MRP System knowledge essential.- Knowledge/experience in LEAN thinking in a manufacturing facility.
