Transition from a occupational rehab provider to an insurer setting using your skills within Psychological injuries.

HAYLO People are experts in Personal Injury and General Insurance recruitment, we are partnered with a leading and well-established Workers Compensation Insurer who are expanding and have significant growth plans for 2024.

The focus of this role will be to proactively implement early intervention strategies on a small portfolio of workers comp psychological claims, whilst working collaboratively with and providing mentoring & guidance to a high performing and customer-responsive case management team.

**Benefits**:

- Salary Dependant on Experience $100,000 - $110,000 + super

- Hybrid Working (2 in the office and 3 days from home)

**The Role**:
In the role of Psychological Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for the following:

- Using your Occupational Rehab experience to drive early intervention strategies on a small portfolio of psychological injuries under the psychological claims management framework
- Working with the claims case managers to collate all of the necessary information required to allow them to accurately determine liability.
- Collaborating with external treatment providers on more complex cases
- Coaching and mentoring the case management team and identifying any potential development needs
- Working collaboratively with all stakeholders including the employer and employee to develop customised return to work strategies and addressing any potential barriers
- Providing insights to the business around current mental health and return to work recovery plans across the industry

**About You**:

- Tertiary qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling, Psychology or mental health.
- Solid experience in managing psychological injuries from an Occupational Rehab background
- Experience in working collaboratively with Insurers on the management of Workers compensation cases
- Strong Early Intervention focus and be results driven
- Excellent coaching/mentoring experience
