**The Role**

We are now seeking a successful and driven Account Manager to drive customer loyalty and account growth in Infrastructure Sales with our SMB territories, ultimately improving Data#3’s market position and achievement of financial goals.

The Data#3 Tasmania Sales Team has over 100 years of combined experience in the Tasmanian ICT Industry, this Account Management role is the opportunity to be part of a well-established business in the state and you will inherit an established client base.

You will be able to enjoy the unique combination of leveraging the significant amount of skills and mature vendor relationships of Data#3 nationally, as well as the rare opportunity to be mentored by several experienced colleagues and to learn strategic engagement skills and build a personal brand in the industry.

**In this role you will**:

- Develop and execute a plan to grow the account base within your assigned territory
- Identify and maximise business opportunities within territory
- Identify key customer stakeholders, build connections and network effectively
- Adhere to legally binding requirements and customer's long-term goals
- Partner with specialists and vendors (within and outside of Data#3), to address specific areas of technology
- Continually develop opportunities with urgency and momentum
- Manage the customer through their internal purchase process and motivate them to act
- Contribute to the tender & proposal process as required

**What we’re looking for**:

- 2+ years sales experience
- A history of growing existing business, meeting or exceeding business objectives and targets
- Proven track record of building and maintaining appropriate customer relationships in market (at various levels)
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining vendor relationships
- Professionalism, a sense of urgency, and a dedication to continuous improvement
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Negotiation and problem resolution skills to achieve a win/win situation
- Integrity in dealing with personnel, customer, and supplier issues
