Sapture is seeking a talented MES Team Lead to provide vital leadership and technical capability for the design, implementation, maintenance and support of our clients' Manufacturing Execution System PSI. The role will also play an integral part as the client moves beyond the MES implementation project and looks to future improvement activities.
In this role you will have overall responsibility for managing the Manufacturing Execution System across the manufacturing area of the business, leading a team to deliver successful Project outcomes and providing support, business and PSI engagement.
About the role;
- Day-to-day leadership of the MES support team
- Working with MES Architect, MES support team and business stakeholders to ensure the MES solution is current, supported, documented, and consistent across the business
- Ensuring that future system upgrades, enhancements, changes to business process are planned and executed
- Day-to-day system support - resolution of issues, user training and education, analysis of new functionality requests, performance monitoring
- Providing solution designs and technical specifications delivering functionality that meets business needs ensuring integrated operability across relevant modules and adhere to best practice IT principles.
- Assess, document, and communicate change implications.
- Coordinating and assisting with general project tasks, including coordinating the MES support team to complete: training, documentation, process review and design, data cleansing and cutover tasks.
- Coordinating and contributing to the development, documentation and execution of functional unit and integrated Test scenarios.
- Assisting business with user acceptance test execution as appropriate.
About you
- A strong customer Focus
- 10+ Years Technical SME in a support and project delivery capacity
- Ability to understand the needs of customers and clearly engage and communicate with them
- Adherence to and enforcement of IT standards and Industry Best Practice
- Advanced experience with design, implementation, maintenance, administration and support of Oracle and Microsoft Database technologies
- Solid Oracle and Microsoft Data Scripting Experience
- Data modelling experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Time management skills with delegated tasks and ability to meet deadlines
- Commitment and willingness to learn, embrace emerging technologies, dedication to growth, self-learning and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, in a challenging and fast-changing environment
- A Tertiary Qualification in a business or technology related area will be highly regarded
- Given the operational critical nature of our clients' MES, you will be required to participate in an on-call support roster, alternating with the Manufacturing Systems support team.
