**YOUR OPPORTUNITY**
We are expanding our supply and logistics team with a fantastic opportunity for an experienced **Supply Facilitator** to join our** Regional QLD, SA-NT **team to be based in **Carole Park or Regency Park **to provide expert management solutions for our customers. This role will see you contribute to the execution of the Blackwoods supply chain strategy across the branches and DC network, working to deliver and ensure stock availability, exceeding customer service targets and ensuring cost efficiencies for the business.
Your key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Generate urgent purchase orders for our customers to ensure that we meet customer expectations.
- Expediting and receipting of drop shipment purchase orders within set SLA.
- Generate and expedite Purchasing orders on temporal vendors who require prepayments.
- Engage with vendors to ensure best performance (ie. DIFOT and overdue PO) by having a proactive approach in fixing issues at the root cause and initiate the fix on a national level.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant legal and ethical standards
- Liaise with internal customer to progress actions required to reduce overdue purchase orders.

- Review and execute replenishment plans to meet projected forecast requirements and committed customer orders
- Communicate with vendors to ensure due dates in ERP are realistic
- Development of relationship with vendor contacts to enable ease with updating purchase order despatch dates and identifying supply issues
- Review backorder report to ensure orders are placed and expedited to support customer demand
- Liaise with internal customer to progress actions required to reduce overdue purchase orders.
- Review and assisting in resolving NLA and MOQ/MOV issues
- Prioritising POs and orders to expedite to supply backorders
- Initiate Supply Disruption Process or escalate on parts that will cause outages within the DC and Branches
- Escalate non-responsive or non-contactable vendors to line manager
- Participate in continuous improvement opportunities
- Undertake any other relevant activities as requested by the business from time to time
To be successful, you will have:
- Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities
- Good communication skills
- Strong ability and Enthusiasm to learn new skills and computer systems
- Ability to work autonomously whilst being a strong team player
- Demonstrated previous experience in a similar role, with strong analytical and mathematical abilities preferred
- Experience with DRP / MRP functionality and a background in forecasting, requirement determination and procurement advantageous
- Strong knowledge of demand planning process within a retail or distribution environment
- Experience using statistical forecasting software
- Knowledge of demand management / forecasting tools, forecasting processes in sales, marketing operations, finance, manufacturing and Supply Chain issues
- Knowledge of key inventory performance metrics (e.g. Inventory turns)
- Collaborative skills in resolving understocked and overstocked inventory positions
- Experience in managing product life cycles
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Excel - including formula functionality.
