**Taronga Conservation Society Australia **is looking for an experienced and passionate **Head of Relationship Fundraising **to join our Marketing, Communications and Fundraising Division

**_About the Role _**

In this new position at Taronga, you will lead the development, delivery and execution of the fundraising strategy for Major Gifts, Corporate Partnerships, and Fundraising Events portfolio to support Taronga Conservations Society Australia’s vision and strategy.

**_Key Accountabilities _**
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies for Taronga that incorporates major gifts, corporate partnerships and fundraising events to maintain and increase fundraising return.
- Develop and maintain strong influential relationships industry groups, key supporter groups and critical stakeholders (internal and external) that enable the generation of financial support for Taronga and its programs while enhancing the brand of Taronga Conservation Society Australia
- Oversee and endorse the effective recruitment and retention strategy for corporate partners and major donors
- Establish and implement strategies that drive revenue generation performance to achieve or exceed a current fundraising target of $20m across the Foundation.
- Oversee and lead the new business strategy of Habitat Positive, driving acquisition of new partnership and philanthropic gifts to support the program
- Maximise the influence and ability of the Board and Executive to effectively provide introductions for prospective corporate sponsors.
- Collaborate with other Foundation, Marketing and Communication Managers to ensure that all communications material developed are consistent in positioning, branding and key messages.
- Manage revenue and expenditure budgets to maximise efficiency and profitability
- Manage a team of relationship fundraising professionals to deliver set performance targets

**_About You _**
- Tertiary qualifications in a business discipline or equivalent experience in a similar role
- Previous experience and achievement as a senior leader within a Fundraising environment or similar
- Previous experience working within a Government framework and/or Government stakeholders desirable
- Ability to lead a diverse and complex strategies to drive results under high pressure situations
- Obtain and maintain a current paid NSW Working with Children Check at own expense
