**Primary Purpose**

As a Technology Change and Release Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of technology changes and releases within the organization. You will ensure that changes and releases are implemented efficiently and effectively while minimizing disruption to the business and maximizing the value delivered to customers. This role is aligned with the ITIL v4 definition of Change and Release Management, following best practices and industry standards.

**Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities**
- Architect and govern a robust IT change management strategy, in strict accordance with ITIL v4 standards, for the evaluation, authorization, and systematic implementation of changes to IT services and infrastructure.
- Orchestrate and direct comprehensive release management processes, including policy creation, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and compliance with ITIL v4 best practices.
- Monitor release and deployment activities, ensuring thorough testing and validation, while proactively managing issues and reporting on progress to maintain transparency across the organization.
- Champion continuous improvement in change and release practices by conducting audits, leveraging industry insights, and driving process automation initiatives for enhanced operational efficiency.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among IT teams, business units, and external vendors, while cultivating key stakeholder relationships to ensure smooth and successful change execution.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of relevant work experience.
- ITIL v4 certification and ServiceNow experience is highly preferred.

**Required experience, understanding or credentials** **including**:

- Proven expertise in crafting and instituting comprehensive Change Enablement and Release Management policies, complemented by a solid grasp of diverse system development life cycles, notably Agile methodologies.
- Versatile management experience across a spectrum of technologies, with a particular focus on Cloud solutions, underscored by a persuasive influence on managerial stakeholders to adhere to established protocols.
- In-depth knowledge of the ITIL v4 framework, coupled with hands-on proficiency with leading ITSM platforms like ServiceNow, fostering effective communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional analytical and organizational acumen, thriving in dynamic settings that demand agility, prioritization, and collaborative cross-skilling within team environments.
