About this role
This role manages the Organizational Health & Engagement function in support of our hourly employee engagement and experience across our Australia retail stores, guest education centers and distribution centers. This role will work in concert with our People & Culture Business Partnering, Employee Relations & Legal teams to implement and execute strategies, practices, standards, lead enterprise bargaining negotiations, identifying emerging industrial relations risks and actively intervening as requested to promote positive industrial outcomes.

A day in the life
- Inform and develop strategies and provide advice to address potential industrial disputation
- Contribute to the development of Australia enterprise bargaining strategy, support the negotiation process and lead negotiations on behalf of the organisation
- Collaborate and drive towards creating a positive workplace and engaging employee experience for our hourly population, including call center and warehouse associates
- Monitors, analyzes, and reports out on current industrial relations related case law, data trends and regulatory changes that may affect the organisation in the future.
- Engage with P&C Business Partners, Employee Relations and Legal on a regular basis to ensure areas of risk are clearly understood and there are relevant action plans in place.
- Supports the design of direct engagement, learning programs and work environment assessment tools for implementation across the organization and as it applies to Australia Industrial Relations law, with support from Learning & Leadership team.

Key decisions
- Support and coach managers in the prevention and resolution of industrial disputes and grievances
- Recommend and contribute to the delivery of effective workplace relations solutions
- Risk Assessments in Australia Retail, GEC (Guest Education Centre), and Supply Chain locations
- Critical Response to OHE (Organizational Health & Engagement) risks in Australia Retail, GEC, and Supply Chain locations
- Policy and Procedure Guidance regarding OHE impact for Australia Retail, GEC, and Supply Chain locations.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelors Degree Required
- Masters in Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, Workplace Relations or Employment Law or J.D. preferred
- 5 years experience in industrial relations role in-house or consultant providing strategic industrial relations advice
- Experience as an industrial relations advocate before Fair Work Commission and proven ability to negotiate on complex industrial relations matters
- Direct involvement in representing an organisation to negotiate an Enterprise Agreement,
- Understanding of the current Industrial Relations framework
