**About the role**
A key member of our Narre Warren - Cranbourne Road Upgrade Project team, the Document Controller will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the project software for document and correspondence control and distribution.
- Working from the south-eastern suburb of Cranbourne, this role offers an opportunity for you to enjoy coming to work This is a hands-on role that requires you to take complete ownership of document retention, retrieval, and filing of the project documentation.
- You will have solid attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a minimum of three years of experience in working in a similar role on large/complex projects. You will take charge of timely registration, issuance and distribution of documents, and maintenance of relevant document registers. You will take ownership of maintaining the Document Control System for the overall project.**About you**
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a project environment, with a good understanding of office and system administration processes and practices.
- Ability to work with electronic management systems and ability to adapt quickly to new software. Experience using Team Binder, Sharepoint, Aconex, or similar would be beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver quality work with a high level of accuracy under minimum supervision and work autonomously.
- High level of interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to interface, interact and work with the various project areas, Management team, and external parties at the Project-level.
- Excellent skills in multi-tasking, prioritisation, and time management within a demanding environment.
- A preparedness to learn and adopt new work practices, systems, and procedures.
