Spring Professional now have two opportunities available as Building Service Manager. These opportunities are based at x2 shopping centres in Melbournes East and North/East.
In this role the Building Service Manager performs day to day maintenance activities, participates in operational contract reviews and works alongside a wider operations team on ad hoc projects.
Main responsibilities:
- Contractor management (cleaning and security) and performance management
- Management of purchase orders, invoice management, contractor payments and Contract Commercial Approval (CCA).
- Assist the operations manager in managing efficiencies in energy costs & HVAC
- Daily centre inspections must be undertaken prior to the building openings. Any hazards or issues are to be dealt with immediately.
- Capital works projects across shopping centre
- Working as team across all risk management strategies
- Monthly reporting to operations management team
Ideal background:
- Building Management/Facilities Management/Operations experience
- Experience in a shopping centre environment advantageous
- Knowledge and experience working across HVAC/Vertical transport
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Initiative, professionalism & persistence
