United Co. provides conference rooms and corporate event hire to the local business community. We are looking for a Conference and Event Assistant to join our friendly team and work with us at our business centre in Fitzroy.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the professional operation of the United Co. meeting, conference, training rooms, and event space hire to provide users with an optimal experience.

**Day to day duties will include the following**:

- To take handover from the sales team and understand the booking requirements to ensure the clients needs are met;
- To provide high quality customer service;
- To operate the booking calendar and ensure a thorough understanding of day to day bookings;
- To attend to room preparation as per configuration and setup requests;
- To offer guests AV and teleconferencing troubleshooting assistance;
- To know, understand and implement all terms and conditions, policies and procedures of United Co. meeting rooms and venue hire;
- Attend to the immediate clean and refresh of the meeting room or hire space;
- To maximise upselling opportunities such as room upgrades, booking extensions, or catering requests and manage the applicable payment of services inline with policies;
- To liaise with the chef to coordinate the timely delivery of catering and attend to timely clearing of catering orders;
- To gather content for positive reviews and testimonials;
- To clean and refresh member kitchens; and
- To provide front desk reception duties.

United Co.'s hours of operation are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm, however the meeting and event facility will also operate outside of these hours. Some flexibility to attend bookings outside business hours will be required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: $54,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
