We offer range offer support services includes Supported Independent Living (SIL), Home and community Support, Behaviour Support, Support Coordination and Community nursing.

**About the Role**:
The role of residential manager oversees infinite Ability’s SIL services where participant receives 24/7 support. In addition, you will be responsible to manage some home and community support for the west and northwest area of Melbourne. We're in search of an enthusiastic Residential Manager to deliver person centred outcome to the participant. You will provide support and guidance to our staff to enable them to support our participants. You will need to demonstrate hands on leadership experience to effectively lead the team of our support workers and create a culture of trust, respect and good working relationships.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Every day will be different, but the main service responsibilities of this role will include**:

- Liaise with stake holders across the organisations as well as externally to ensure consistent and person cantered supports are provided.
- Facilitate participant and team meetings as well as individual support and guidance.
- Review the progress of participants, plans and goals.
- Lead and manage team, manage rosters, and approve timesheets.
- Ensure all documentation for participants and staff meet compliance requirements.
- Undertake performance management, support investigations and disciplinary processes.
- Recruit and undertake induction process for new team members.
- Provide ongoing training and mentoring to staff.
- Oversee and implement risk management plans, site maintenance and WHS functions (incidents, injuries and hazards).
- Participate in the on-call roster on a rotation basis.

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in managing a team within Disability/Community service sector.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of NDIS and NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
- An understanding of what it means to support in a way that respects participants rights, dignity, values, beliefs and personal goals.
- The ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders and having a positive approach to everything that you do.
- Driver Licence, NDIS Worker Screening, right to work in Australia, working with Children Check and Current First Aid

**Salary**: $82k - $86k per annum
