- Christian Brothers’ High School, Lewisham is an independent Catholic School in the Edmund Rice tradition catering for 1,300 boys from Years 5-12. We understand the unique learning needs of boys and supports each student on their own journey. As a non-selective school we are committed to providing quality education to all students._

We are looking for a Learning Support Officer to join our Diverse Learning team. In this role, you will collaborate with Learning Support Teachers to provide exceptional support to students with additional learning needs.

**In this role, you will**:

- Provide practical assistance to support the learning of students with learning difficulties in and out of the classroom environment
- Deliver small group academic support to students through the running of targeted courses
- Assist the Diverse Learning Department with general administration duties
- Supervise students with additional learning needs

**About you**:

- You are suitably experienced or qualified in Education Support or working towards a degree in Teaching
- You have experience in the delivery of MultiLit programs (preferred)
- You possess a high level of interpersonal and communication skills
- You’re interested in helping meet the educational and wellbeing needs of young men
- You have an understanding of appropriate behaviours and professional boundaries that reflect child safeguarding values in practice
- You are willing to support the Catholic ethos of the School
