**About the role**

Wallis has an inhouse data collection department, that is responsible for the acquisition of survey responses. As a full multi-mode collection agency, Wallis collects survey data using a wide range of approaches including telephone interviews (CATI). Wallis is looking for a new Field Manager to lead this department.

The role manages a team of supervisors and interviewers. The call centre is outbound in nature and generally operates 5 days a week.

The Field Manager is responsible for ensuring that project fieldwork is delivered on time and within the expected budget. This requires understanding the future work requirements of the area and putting in place workforce planning to ensure objectives are met and quality maintained in the most efficient means possible.

Ideally, you have an eye for detail, enjoy motivating staff and are looking to lead and run a department like a business.

**What we’re looking for**

You should have experience in the following
- Managing a call centre
- Coaching and mentoring of staff
- MS Office (especially Excel)
- Excellent writing skills
- Workforce planning (including rostering, recruitment, retention)
- Project management experience
- A tertiary or equivalent qualification

Any of the following would be considered a bonus:

- Experience in the Market Research industry and with its methodologies
- Experience project managing large outbound call projects
- Experience implementing a continuous improvement culture in a call centre
- Experience using Forsta to manage call centre data collection
- Business development experience

Due to the nature of our business, all employees are required to complete a police check and undergo reference checking prior to an offer of employment.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
