Overview:
- Full-time, Continuing position- Salary HEW 6 + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangement- Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of working

About the Role

The incumbent will provide leadership and expertise working with with professional staff across colleges, schools, and the Academic Registrar’s Group in enrolment-related activities across both the vocational and higher education sectors.

The position will also provide enrolment support across Enrolment and Student Records as required.
- Occasional evening and weekend work and restrictions on annual leave may be necessary during peak periods._

To be successful in this position, you’ll have as a minimum:
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in the provision of quality student administration services, including a sound knowledge of relevant policies and procedures relating to the University, Federal and State Government departments and agencies.- Demonstrated ability to respond appropriately to sensitive information and situations; as well as demonstrated cultural sensitivity and cross-cultural communication skills.- Proven initiative and problem-solving skills and ability to work independently to quickly extract the priority issues and take action without specific direction where appropriate and ability to advise management of potential for policy improvement.- Excellent organisational and time management skills with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and re-adjust workload priorities to meet conflicting deadlines.- Highly developed interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills, including ability to tailor communication styles to diverse audiences.About the Portfolio

The Academic Registrar's Group (ARG) is responsible for the administrative, policy and governance activities of the University which relate to the student lifecycle. The ARG operating environment is highly complex; the University has more than 82,000 students enrolled in both vocational and higher education programs, at campuses in Melbourne, Europe and Vietnam, and at several offshore locations in conjunction with educational and industry partners.
