**What this opportunity involves**:
We are seeking for a driven and energetic individual to join us as our Reconciliation Officer. You will be part a special project team responsible for providing timely and accurate reconciliations of aged accounts while complying with policies and procedures in a fast-paced environment.
You will work alongside a variety of stakeholders - finance, leasing, facilities management, and client representatives
Please note that this is a fixed-term contract until 31 July 2025 (with possibility of an extension or conversion).
**Snapshot of the role**:
Reconcile accounts to statements timely and accurately
Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly
Follow escalation procedures
Communicate effectively across business areas
Handle reconciliation and account queries promptly
Work with lease administration and property asset managers on payment processing
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, providing a high level of customer service, including the Finance team, leasing managers, lease administration, facilities management, and client representatives.
Assist with ad-hoc tasks in Lease Administration and Finance

**Requirements**:
Tertiary education in Accounting, Finance or equivalent is desirable but not essential
Demonstrated ability in completing reconciliations in an Accounts Payable or Customer Service role
Prior experience in the property industry would be an added advantage
Must be able to ‘own’ responsibilities and processes, show initiatives and possess a can-do attitude
Ability to work independently and part of a dynamic team
Ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume environment
Sound proficiency in Excel skills
