**About the role**

The Cardiology Interventional Fellow position involves training in the techniques of invasive cardiac procedures with particular emphasis on coronary angiography, angioplasty procedures and interventions in structural heart disease. The incumbent will be expected to participate in hospital postgraduate activities and undertake clinical research in Cardiology under the supervision of the Consultant staff. During this time the Fellow will have limited clinical responsibilities and will be required to have a responsibility for on-going patient care. This may include both basic and clinical elements, within Cardiology at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with the medical Board of Australia as a medical Practitioner.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Working with Children Check
