The C2 Integration Specialist is responsible for referencing & implementing the Warfighting Applications C2 integration process, including the creation of design and supporting documentation.

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- Knowledge and deep understanding of software integration, scalability and deployment considerations within secure environments;
- Knowledge and understanding of infrastructure, networking (both unicast as well as multicast), PKI, middleware and distribution mechanisms, as well as system integration design, design assurance and definition rigor;
- Advanced practitioner skills in scripting, configuration and installation methods, practitioner skills in automation and deployment;
- Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with demonstrable experience of presentation and engagement with stakeholders, projects, organisational reporting and business areas

**Desirable Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or a degree in a related field;
- Advanced practitioner skills for both GUI and CLI based environments, operating systems, ancillaries and appliances;
- Knowledge and understanding of the OSI model, technology, ICAM, as well as layer 3/4 and 7 security considerations;
- Strong consideration will be given to previous Variable Message Format (VMF), Tactical Data Link’s (TDL), Coalition &/or Geospatial technical exposure/experience
- Knowledge of DevSecOps &/or CI/CD pipelines, SAFe Agile Delivery,
- Containerization, Virtualisation, ITILv4 and FMN/Interoperability
- Frameworks, inclusive of the FMN concept of COI and Data Centricity Strategy;
- Knowledge of Defence Enterprise Risk Management, preferably within CIOG ICT Delivery
- Knowledge and understanding of JC2 Systems, Strategic, Operational & Tactical Defence systems as well as demonstrable context
- Knowledge of the Defence Security Principles Framework.
- Knowledge of the various Australian Defence Organization’s, as well as other Government Agencies that contribute or rely on both Joint and Defence ICT system exchanges

**Security Clearance**:

- Have and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance and ability to upgrade to NV2 as required and requested by the Commonwealth.
