**The Opportunity**

Come and discover the opportunity to join our BlueScope Distribution business in our **Queensland **team** as a **Supply Chain Manager**. BlueScope Distribution is a single-source provider of steel and aluminium product, processing and service solutions. The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification. BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.

As a key member of the BlueScope Distribution National Supply Chain and State Leadership teams, you will take responsibility of the QLD Supply Chain including but not limited to planning, purchasing, inventory management and the development of customer and supplier solutions.

This role will be based at our Trade Coast** **site in **Eagle Farm. **Enjoy a competitive salary package and participation in our company incentive program. **What Will You Do?**

Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, you will be accountable for supply planning and execution, inventory management, supplier procure to pay processes - strengthening our ability to support our customers’ needs now and for the future. You will achieve this by:

- ** optimising the supply network** - develop and deliver an inventory profile that balances customer and market requirements with optimal working capital returns through the price cycle
- ** planning and Forecasting - **enhance demand forecasting by working closely with key stakeholders and deliver a balanced supply plan
- ** streamlining and implementing efficient processes **- leverage technology platforms to enhance supply chain operations and the experience for our people and our internal and external customers
- ** category optimisation and value extraction** - take advantage of the value of our product categories to deliver tangible benefits to the value chain
- ** strengthening out supplier partnerships **- implement sourcing strategies and processes to further enhance our partnerships with suppliers now and in the future

- proven ability to operate in multi-faceted Industrial Distribution, Manufacturing or Logistics environment
- demonstrated experience in developing effective supply chain solutions and strategies
- superior influencing, negotiation and communication skills
- ability to lead, engage and develop a high-performance organisational culture
- a strong customer service focus and ability to translate key customer requirements into improved product and service offerings
- a passion for improving process efficiency reducing admin burden and improving outcomes through technology solutions
