The Victorian Planning Authority (VPA) is a State Government statutory authority that reports to the Minister for Planning. Victoria is growing, with a projected population of up to 10 million people by 2050. It is the VPA’s main task to make sure Melbourne and Victoria’s regions remain great places to live. The VPA undertakes strategic land use planning and coordinated infrastructure for the future growth and transformation of Victoria’s cities and regions - from new suburbs in growth areas, to areas undergoing change in established Melbourne as well as our growing regional towns and cities.

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Infrastructure Strategy & Planning group as an Infrastructure Planner.

Reporting to the Manager Infrastructure Coordination and Contributions, the role will support managers within the VPA to prepare Infrastructure Contributions Plans (ICPs) and Development Contributions Plans (DCPs), work with State Government agencies, councils and other stakeholders to facilitate Growth Areas Infrastructure Contribution Works in Kind (GAIC WIK) projects and assist in the preparation of infrastructure plans in different contexts across Victoria.
