Public Sector People are excited to be exclusively working with a local council to recruit a Band 6 Asset Planner for an initial 2 month temporary contract assignment.

**About the Role**:
As an Asset Planner, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the enhancement of the communities infrastructure and facilities. You will be involved in various aspects of asset management and planning, including:

- Assisting in the development of Asset Management Plans, collaborating with external consultants.
- Crafting specifications for Buildings Condition Assessment in conjunction with Subject Matter Experts.
- Formulating a business case for a Strategic Asset Management Modelling Tool.
- Supporting minor projects and scoping for Council’s Enhancement, Masterplans, and Capital Works plans.
- Contributing to asset sub-class strategy development and implementation, such as the Council’s Play Strategy and Public Toilets Strategy.
- Addressing customer inquiries and investigations, preparing well-structured written responses.
- Assisting with asset-class information management and ensuring compliance reporting.
