**A bit about you**
- You are currently registered as a Building Surveyor (Level 1) and have experience in a variety of commercial projects
- You have good knowledge of the NCC, relevant state legislation and the certification process
- You hold a valid driving licence and have your own vehicle
- You are commitmed to providing exceptional customer service
- You are proficient with writing clear and accurate reports
- You have good organisation and time management skills

**About the Role**

CERTIS are looking for a full time Level 1 Senior Building Certifier to join our Brisbane team. You will have the opportunity to work alongside several experienced certifiers on a variety of commercial projects. To be successful in this position, you will be committed to providing a high level of quality service to our clients, be proactive in your approach, and have the ability to develop positive working relationships with our staff and client base.

Key Responsibilities will include:

- Responsibility for the assessment, approval and finalisation of Building Applications in line with applicable regulations / codes / standards
- Providing advice to clients on Building Code and other relevant legislative matters
- Developing quotations based on client requests
- Conducting construction inspections as required, complete reports and keep clients informed of progress
- Attend project meetings and take required actions
- Review certificates for compliance
- Assist with training junior staff

**Other things to mention**:
We have a flexible approach to working conditions and offer a genuine hybrid working model. Being within a reasonable travelling distance of our office where you will have access to company vehicles will be beneficial.

Occasional inter and intra state travel may be required but this is generally on an irregular basis and usually limited to larger projects.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
