The **Maintenance Planner (North Rocks) role is designed to be fully functional in the 4-Day work week trial.**
**Job Summary**
We are looking for a motivated **Maintenance Planner** who will be managing the site CMMS for planned maintenance scheduling for all plant and equipment, including but not limited to preventative, Condition-based and predictive maintenance and lubrication schedules. Safe and efficient Planning and scheduling execution for all critical, and non-critical works, major rebuilds on equipment including parts and resource requirements, to optimise equipment uptime and minimise business risk, ensuring correct work procedures, services, skills, tools, and equipment are identified for planned jobs.
**Role Responsibilities**:
**Plant Reliability and Systems Development**
- With the support of the Engineering Maintenance Manager and the Reliability Engineers help establish a world-class asset care program that will achieve high standards of plant reliability and efficiency to enable production to deliver better than budgeted OEE rates and customer service levels. Includes helping develop a bottom-up build of the maintenance program, tools and reporting systems to ensure control over engineering activities.- Work with Reliability engineers to complete maintenance plans in full in scheduled time.
- Schedule all planned maintenance activities for the site in CMMS, including all parts and resource requirements. A proactive approach to scheduling in downtime activities with planning teams.
- Management of the site work order backlog.
- Establish trade hours estimates of planned maintenance work
- Schedule all streams of trade activities through CMMS
- Ensure all necessary parts, services and documentation to perform the
maintenance work is readily available at the time of use.
- Responsible for up-keep and accuracy of equipment maintenance history within the CMMS database.
- Responsible for up-keep and accuracy of technical information on processes, plant and equipment.
- Work with the Production Scheduler to ensure maintenance work is factored into the production plans.
- Ensure key performance indicators are captured, reported and displayed for equipment reliability, maintenance department performance and planning and scheduling.
- Work with site systems to capture all work requests and schedules in via CMMS.- Collaborate with the Engineering Maintenance Manager and the Reliability Engineers to schedule resources for the most effective production and maintenance outcomes.
- Proactively work with the departmental leadership teams to ensure the effective execution of all required maintenance activities.
- Participation in all relevant site process audits as and when required.
- Implement a continuous improvement focus towards the site maintenance systems
asset care delivery and cost-effectiveness.
Drive the optimization of Preventative Maintenance schedules, condition monitoring, critical spares, breakdown support, and equipment design where necessary. - Ensuring that all parts are available for breakdown& planned maintenance before scheduling in works required.
- Create and maintain a critical parts store to minimise risk to the business.
- Assigning work orders criticality in the CMMS.
**Safety and Environment**
- Compliance with North Rocks Permit to Work Systems.
- Compliance with Engineering Management of Change Control.
- Ensure compliance with Safety in Aerosol Manufacture Specific Standards.
