THE ROLE

The Principal Advisor, Aboriginal Cultural Safety is responsible for leading the implementation, monitoring and oversight of the internal implementation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Safety Framework. Key accountabilities include oversight and delivery of all data, analysis and resources for the Cultural Safety Workplace Monitoring Framework. As well as developing resources and support material, facilitate workshops, cultural safety curriculum and coordinating governance groups to support the capability and capacity of the department.

The role will provide strategic advice and support on varied Aboriginal Cultural Safety matters that span across internal initiatives delivered by the department. You will be required to build strong collaboratively relationships and partner with senior leaders to support implementation and reporting progress.
