**About the Role**

Reporting to the Manager SAASTA, the School Operations Coordinator will develop and lead schools with the intention of highly engaging school programs for secondary Aboriginal students with the focus on culture, health, language, sports and wellbeing within a student-centered delivery. The position will ensure that the SAASTA staff working in Academy schools are supported to access high quality learning resources in order to implement culturally relevant and appropriate teaching and learning programs. The School Operations Coordinator will develop programs that maximize student learning outcomes in the senior years, in preparation for successful and meaningful post-school transition. The incumbent will work in collaboration with the Aboriginal Pathways directorate, SAASTA manager, the State-wide Curriculum Coordinator and key stakeholders.

**Special Conditions**
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**

ASO7: $106,512 - $115,137 per annum plus superannuation.
