THE ROLE

There are two Graduate Research Officer positions available:
1 x continuing, full time hours

1 x 12 month fixed term contract, full time hours

Macquarie University is recruiting for the role of Graduate Research Officer to join The Graduate Research Academy (GRA).

Key Responsibilities- Selection Criteria- A degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.- A demonstrated ability to provide exceptional professional customer service and attention to detail in a high-volume, fastpaced administration environment.-
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to draft correspondence and to communicate professionally, clearly, and effectively with a broad range of people from diverse backgrounds.- Excellent organisational and time management skills including the ability to prioritise work to meet tight deadlines and balance a wide range of conflicting demands.- Excellent computing skills including a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Suite of programs and experience in the use of student information management systems and demonstrated well developed word processing and spreadsheet data entry skills.- Demonstrated ability to work under general direction, independently and within a team, displaying initiative and a proven ability to work co-operatively and contribute to continuous improvement.
