Seeking an experienced Planning Manager to join a awesome London heritage business who have global reach for their product

As a business that is on a great growth trajectory there is a lot of scope for somebody to grow a Planning team and implement best practices to help the brand scale up.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Development of seasonal merchandise strategy
- Manage, lead, guide and develop the Planning Team
- Prepare and present to MD for sign off of company budgets including Sales, GM, GMROI
- Work closely with Product teams through the ranging processes
- Control Markdown budget to ensure that Total Company markdowns are within the agreed level
- Inventory management
- Achieving critical financial targets such as sales, stock turn and sell through
- Creation and projection of planning strategies and theories that will enhance performance

**To Be Successful You Will Have**:

- Initiative to recognise or identify potential problems or challenges early and resolution skills to implement solutions accordingly
- Extensive years of planning experience ideally within a senior position
- Experience of managing a team upwards of 3 direct reports
- Highly skilled in planning software and a high level of excel knowledge
- Planning experience in accessories, homewares, general merchandise or apparel, preferably with wholesale exposure
- Ability to manage relationships at all levels
- High developed numerical skills, including accuracy and interpretation
