**About the opportunity**:
Reporting to the Manager of Data & Analytics, you will get the chance to play a lead role in designing, implementing data governance initiatives and play a key, driving role in raising to raise maturity at WesCEF.

This is a great opportunity to join a highly regarded team within IT&S, with the chance to develop, drive and own a multi-year program of work to support a wide range of stakeholders across a range of business units. This is a leadership position, needing to build a team as necessary to support the objectives of the program.

**Your role**:

- Create strategies and drive implementation across data governance, quality and management.
- Co-ordinate internal and external resources to produce and deliver governance solutions.
- Ensure that WesCEF is acquiring best practices by learning from global competitors and aligning to changing regulatory landscapes.
- Work closely with stakeholders and peers within WesCEF IT&S and also Wesfarmers to ensure alignment to divisional and group expectations.
- Assist in building a team of resources to support data governance and management efforts.
- Be the key representative for IT&S Data and Analytics in relation to the facilitation of external audits

**What you bring**:

- Strong and demonstrated experiences in data governance, quality and management frameworks and platforms.
- Strong skills in project management and demonstrated experience in leading people.
- Strong skills in change management and stakeholder communication.
- Experience desired in in one or many technical data governance related platforms such as Azure Purview, Alation, Informatica and Collibra.
