**Your new company**

This role sits within a government organisation with office in heart of Melbourne CBD. You will work with one of the agencies in government with an excellent reputation in a highly productive team. The organisation is focused on providing sustainable, efficient and cost-effective services.

**Your new role**

As a Security GRC consultant primary purpose of the role is to focus on the design and implementation of security framework and the maintenance of Information Security Standards, procedures and related documentation. You will be tasked with guiding stakeholder with Security frameworks to uplift the security posture.

**What you'll need to succeed**

As in depth understanding of Cybersecurity, you’ll be required to possess the following skills/experience
- An expertise in security framework, standards and policy
- Ability to identify and provide solution to remediate the risk gaps
- Strong understanding of risk and compliance e.g
- NIST, ISO27001, Essential Eight
- An in depth understanding of security design and implementation
- Ability to perform risk audit and further action of completion
- Exposure in internal and external stakeholder management
