The RAC is looking for passionate customer service and sales professionals with a can-do attitude to launch their career via its comprehensive training program delivering member centre services in Western Australia.

Our Mandurah Member Service Centre is one of 8 in the network that provides ‘face to face’ and phone-based interactions for members and a reliable, personal sales experience. We are offering a ‘people focused’ individual a FULL TIME, 12 Month Fixed Term Contract opportunity to join a team environment that understands what good customer service feels like.Work for an innovative organisation with limitless long-term career prospects- Comprehensive training provided (12 weeks) fully paid- 12 month Full time contract, 75 hours per fortnight commencing 5 January 2024. Current roster Monday to Friday 8.45am to 5.15pm.

We will train you, develop you and help you achieve your goals

In this important member-facing role, you will be trained to assist RAC members and resolve their enquiries, with a strong focus on delivering exemplary customer service and providing meaningful sales advice. You will utilise a range of computer based resources and programs to do so. Your ability to build rapport with customers, identify matching products or services, and work quickly and efficiently will be the key to unlocking success in this role.

What will you be doing?- Building strong relationships with local members face to face and over the phone- Having meaningful conversations with our existing members on their current RAC products- Providing support and general advice to new members- Cross selling and upselling to make sure our members have the right levels of cover

What we are looking for?- You must have proven experience in a sales role - promoting, cross selling and closing the sale- You are committed to putting customers first and providing exceptional service- Able to build rapport and communicate confidently with a diverse range of people- Excellent time management skills & ability to work under pressure- Team player
