Eden Ritchie is seeking a Procurement and Contracts Officer to contribute to the government’s employment and economic objectives in the areas of workplace health and safety, electrical safety, workers’ compensation and industrial relations.

**As the Procurement and Contracts Officer, your key responsibilities will include**:

- **Previous Queensland Government procurement experience within the last 6 months (mandatory);**:

- **Prepare briefing notes for approval by senior and executive level management;**:

- **Experience in Queensland Government General and ICT Procurement;**:

- **Prepare general goods and services procurement and evaluation plans;**:

- **Prepare tender (Request for Quote (RFQ) or Invitation to Offer (ITO)) documentation and associated attachments;**:

- **Assist business units in understanding the procurement process within OIR, including setting expectations and timeframes;**:

- **Assist stakeholders with writing specifications;**:

- **Knowledge and demonstrated experience in the use of SAP financial system;**:

- **Experience in using Queensland Government QITC suite of templates;**:

- **Experience in developing Queensland Government contracts and tenders, including associated documentation;**:

- **Demonstrated experience in the use of SharePoint.**
